Opportunity and position description:

Weekend Emergency Dentist, Downtown Des Moines (part time) We're looking for one or two dentists, and recent graduates (classes of 2025 and 2026) are especially welcome. Our newer dentists have consistently been our strongest producers in this role. Why it works for a newer dentist: you don't have to finish the endo. Our most endo-experienced doctor handles obturation. You do the access and prep, hand it off, and it gets finished. Nobody gets stuck in a molar at 4pm on a Sunday with no one to call. Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, sometimes a Friday or Monday. About 4 to 6 days a month, 9am to 6pm. Built to sit alongside a weekday job. Compensation: $1,100/day minimum plus tiered production, and a $2,000 signing bonus. Fee for service, and weekend emergency fees run higher, so there's real room above the guarantee. Office: modern office with CBCT and trained staff who only do weekend emergency care. Licensing: Iowa license or license-eligible. If you graduated in 2025 or 2026 and took CRDTS or ADEX, Iowa will license you on the boards you already took. It's an application, not another exam, and we'll cover the application cost and walk you through it. Location: downtown Des Moines. Open to dentists within about three hours; people drive in Saturday morning and head home Sunday. Referral: we pay $1,000 to whoever refers the dentist we hire, at their one-year mark.
